Call for Papers

Dear Colleagues,
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

The 13th European Congress on Digital Pathology (ECDP 2016) will be held in Berlin, Germany, from May, 25–28 2016. Digital pathology, originally an offshoot of telepathology, is advancing to incorporate modern medicine with systems science, image processing, business process modelling and knowledge management. Methodological changes in microscopic techniques, imaging, molecular pathology, genetics and bioinformatics are the drivers of digital pathology. The fascinating program of the ECDP 2014 in Paris with insights in several new technologies will find its continuum in Berlin.

With respect to the rate of technical developments during the past years, time is right for an overview of potentials of scanning technology and their applicability in daily practice.

The conference program will include presentations of papers, workshops, tutorials, competitions and an electronic poster exhibition. Along with top-class keynote speakers, we look forward to this central event for researchers and users of digital pathology in 2016.

Share your research findings!
We invite authors to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentation
until January 15, 2016.

Abstracts are invited, but not limited to the following topics:

Business Processes in Pathology

  • Workflow/Hospital Integration
  • Computer Aided Diagnosis
  • Standardization (DICOM, HL7, IHE)
  • Validation
  • Quality Assessment and Quality Management
  • eLearning
